Steps to becoming a CEF Leader:
Step 1 – Meet the Age Qualifications
Step 2 – Fill out the CEF Leader Interest Form
Step 3 – Be interviewed and accepted as a CEF Leader
Step 4 – Get your necessary Clearances
Step 5 – Fill out required paperwork
Step 1 – Age Qualifications
Good News Clubs, Kingdom Kids
CEF Volunteer Leaders Must:
-Be at least 13 years old
Employees Must:
-Be at least 14 years old
5 Day Clubs & Christmas Outreach
CEF Volunteer Leaders Must:
-Be at least 16 years old
Employees Must:
-Be at least 18 years old
Camp Good News
CEF Volunteer Leaders Must:
-Be at least 13 years old
(If you are 13 years old, you are only allowed to Volunteer for 2 weeks of Camp Good News.)
Employees Must:
-Be at least 14 years old

Step 3 – Interview & Acceptance
Once you fill out the CEF Leadership Application Form above, we’ll know to get in touch with you regarding your interview. Depending on your current level of involvement with CEF, this could be as simple as a quick phone call to make sure we’re all on the same page, or it may be an in person meeting. If you get the all clear, congratulations! You are a CEF Leader!
Step 4 – Clearances
If you’ve accepted as a CEF leader, this is your next step!
You need these clearances if:
You are above the age of 18 and are an employee or volunteer.
You are above the age of 16 and are a paid employee of CEF.
You do not need these clearances if:
You are a volunteer or CEF Volunteer Leader under the age of 18.

Step 5 – Paperwork
If you’ve been accepted as a CEF Leader, this will be your final step! You’ll need to fill out the CEF Leadership paperwork, which will be given to you after your interview. If you’re applying to be a paid employee, this paperwork will include your W-4 and I-9.
